what kind of oil does honda over 100000 miles?

really you can use anything you want to in it,but synthetic oil is the best to use in high mileage vehicles,i use it in all my vehicles,and it has actually helped my gas mileage get a little better,but if i went to a synthetic oil it would be Mobil one in it that's the best brand i have found so far,and you can choose the weight of it,id go with a 10-w-30 in it,good luck hope this helps.

10W-30 or 10W-40 synthetic or blend

10/30w is okay(unless blue is coming from the tailpipe - then you may want to increase to 15/40 to slo up the oil burning. I have found that the use of synthetic oils is not made for Honda - the gaskets will disintergrate. This is what I have been told by Honda. It is not required. Also, if you are burning it, it makes no sense burning it away too.

10w-30 10w-40 depending on climate, I have used full synthetic for 12 years in my 92 GSR, 230k mi no problems

In my Honda crv 98 manuel 10w-30 oil is recommended, but if you are in a climate for winter 5w-30 oil is then recommended.

I believe Honda recommends a 0W or 5W with their vehicles. But with 100,000 miles, most likely the warranty has expired. You may want to considered using a slightly thicker oil, 10W, for better engine internal cushioning and less oil blow by of the piston rings.Synthetic oil on high mileage engine might create problems because aged piston rings.
