Default Whats a great car, high quality, doesnt suck gas, has power and doesnt cost a fortune? Please...

...detail? I am so car ignorant its unbelievable, but I know anyone reading this probably has more experience PLEASE TELL ME YOUR EXPERIENCES with different makes and models and now that you have hindsight, what would have been the first car you would have purchased? This can be new or used.I wasnt referring to a imaginary car, Just a good choice in a car, stop taking my question so literally.I was actually thinking of a civic, but I liked them years ago when they were cute and square-ish, what happened to those, why tamper with a cool design by fading it out?

Sorry - but to me a great car is a Rolls Royce Phantom - and yes it uses a lot of gas and does cost a lot. However...... it is a great car with high quality and lot's of power. So, out of the 5 criteria you mentioned, it has 3 :-D

My vote is for a Toyota Corolla. I bought mine in 1999 and its still here and drivable. Good on gas, affordable.

as i answered to your previous question...Well since it's going to be a sed car, i would suggest that you get a Japanese car like a Honda, Acura or Nissan. They last almost forever and are very reliable.Get a Honda Accord or a Civic because they have great gas mileage, runs great even if on high miles. Or get an Acura Integra (LS, GS, GS-R) because they look really good, and the 98-01 models are the best. Acura is made by Honda so the engine will last almost forever if you take good care of it. They're good in miles, and the GS and GS-R models have leather. Nissans are great cars, but they're kind of expensive. I would get the Nissan 300ZX because it's a sports car that you can afford. It looks awesome, and it's known as the Devil Z. Great car if you like speed and all that. Not so great if you can't afford gas because it runs on premium. Overall, i would get the acura integra, so consider one as your car.
