Default What parts should I put on my stock 02' Honda civic engine? (AT)?

im looking for parts that aren't too far in the grands but will increase my cars overall performance noticably. BTW my car has only something like 120 horses so I need a little boost. (not speaking of nitrous)

Take the stock air filter box out and put one of those conical filter/intakes on it.Pull the stock headers and exhaust out - and put a performance exhuast system on it.Get a performance chip, and maybe consider replacing the whole fuel injection system.Or buy a real sports car, and stop wasting your time.

Unfortunately, unlike older Civics, you won't get noticeable increases in performance with mods on your 7Gen. You're lucky you don't have VTec-e (economy). The only decent upgrade is a K20 engine, and it's not cheap. There is a 7thgen Civic forum on the web, you can read about mods there, and if they make a significant difference.

Go with a cold air intake, it's not that expensive but it doesn't increase your horsepower that much. Only about 8 or 10. But it's around 120 dollars. Or a racing preformance chip, cost a few, but really helps. Or maybe get some ECU upgrades, they can raise your top speed and acceleration. Or just spend alot of money and get a turbo. But don't spend it on useless mods, or alot of mods for that mater ecause it can lessen your engine's life.
