Default do i need to change my inside wire harness if im changing automatic to standard ?

i swap a b16 99 into a 93 coupe eg i was told it would be best if i change the whole wire harnees to ex standard since mine was cx automatic i starded taking out all the dash but before taking the whole thing i want some opinions help me out anybody !!

This is often correct. the harness for the automatic is different then for the manual. You most likely need to change the computer as well so it is not looking for the sensors on the transmission. Other wise you will have an eternal check engine light.

save your self the hassle, change the harness to one from a manual eg.and also make sure that the ECu is from a manual car...

No you don't have to. You'll just have to reconfigure a few wires at the shifter and behind the dash.
