Default '95 Honda Civic, I wanna do an engine swap, what do you recommend?

It's got a 1.5, no v-tec in it. Plain stock, well, got a short ram intake, but that's it.

Sell it and buy a vehicle with the engine you want. Don't make cars a toy. They are for service. Spend your money on charity rather spending it on toys. Charity helps others and it's tax deductable.

I don't know much specifically about hondas but I can do better than the charity guy. Get a B18 engine from Japan and swap it in.

it depends on your budget.... but the jdm intgra type r b18 (with lsd) would be ideal, but a b16a2 out of the 2000 civic si or the jdm civic sir (second gen) b16 is always a smart move. you could go with the h22 or k20 swap but they're both very costly . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_B_engine#B16 read up on the b series engines and compare

I would motor swap it either with a B18 from an Acura Integra GS-R or a K20 from the Civic Si or the RSX-S (Almost same)

Do a H22 or a K20 Damm I see those car like litterly fly the speedometer goes like 10-100 in a mere 10 seconds. I suggest the K20 or K24. You'll be smoking Evos and STI's like nothing.
