I have a 1996 honda accord ex coupe and I'm having problems starting my car because it has an engine kill switch and the wire for that is torn, I saw my uncle splice it to the switch, and then later on i tried to do it and it didn't work, is there a certain thing I should do to just comfortable not worry about if my car will start or not?

take it to a honda dealership and they can hook it up to a special machine and tell you exactly what's wrong with it

Get that stupid kill switch out of your car. People that steal Hondas use tow trucks, and in the rare scenario they boost your car, they sure as hell won't be fooled by a kill switch.

get something other than a honda.
