...70mph and over.? wheel alignment has been done and wheel balancing too.

You may have a bent CV shaft. That is a problem you can rectify.

blown strut is my best guess,push down om the front of the car and see if its firn or bouncy,bouncy means its time to get some struts

maybe the steering u use old ready n the rack n pinion aso old ready ........try n switch it

Vibrations at speeds of 70mph or higher are usually caused by a problem in the rear wheels. If the wheels have been properly balanced then I would check for cupping on the rear tires. Cupping will occur if wheels are not rotated periodically on front wheel drive vehicles.

If you're sure the wheel balancing is OK, I would suspect an out-of-round or irregularly worn tire. The things that others have mentioned are less likely than a tire problem.

It could be the type of tires and rims used you have to have the right specification or else it would run really crappy.
