I have a 90 four door civic with 379,354 it leaks oil and transmission fluid . the seats are riped , it smoke oil ALOT the cv axles are poping the truck as a lot of rust the muffler drags the ground but I was think about installing a load muffler a cold air intake installing boch paltinum four in in the engine some big fat wires some neon lights. I think after that it could run a high 9 second quarter mile

Yeah, you could do nine seconds in a quarter mile.....if you push it off of a cliff. Don't even waste your money on putting anything into it. Actually, I'd make money off of it if I were you. Take the glass out of the car, roll it onto a tarp in the front yard and charge people three swings for a buck with a sledgehammer. Invite the neighbors over to watch the entertainment and down a beer or two in the process.

You have to crash into something first....all the fast civics I've see have front end damage. An NOS sticker would help too. A huge wing hanging off the back would probably get you into the low 9's.

If you want to run 9 seconds you had better be planning on a motor swap, large turbo, complete engine build, new suspension, and about $30,000. realistically,your car would be doing great if it ran 17 seconds.

9sec for quarter mile, impossible.I did saw a souped up Celica did 1/4 in 11.xx sec.

Um I think he was trying to make fun of the Honda/Import tuners but didn't realize that a Honda has a higher re-sale value then anything made in the USA. That American companies lost over $30 billion last quarter and 10% market share. Or that people perfer having reiable cars vs something breaks every time at the track.If not and you wanna run 9's you first need to know how to spell. Spell check it please its hard to understand you.Basic make sure the body is in good coniditon no rust on the floor etc. Nice B16-B20 build motor boost, roll cage, etc check out dsport 2200lb daily driven 10.2sec 1/4 hatchback.And if you where trying to make fun of a Honda I am sure this car you describe spank you, its called a sleeper.
