My car wont start... I've replaced the starter, installed a new alternator, and battery plus I checked the fuses and they seem to be ok. Any ideas on why my car still wont start?

Try the plugs, plug wires, distributer cap. Check for water in the fuel, check for fuel pump and check for a clogged fuel filter.Good luck.

Im a former mechanic myself have you checked the computer yet if it is dead your car wont start also some honda's civic and accord have a valve in the back of the engine when they go bad the car wont start and its a long process of fixing it lots of parts and time so check the computer first if not take it to your mechanic but shop around bewteen local mechanic get a opoin ion from a couple different mechanics

have you tried to see the engine and the transmission?

All the above advise is good, some cars have a fuel pump relay which controls the fuel pump and wont start if the relay is bad.

if the car is turning over but not starting check if igniter unit is bad it is in distubter also check the coil, fuel pump and the fuel pump main relay

you have fail to tell if the engine is even turning, does it crank & wont turn over?, need more details,could be many reasons,the most simple..gas,...it could be a problem with the fueling system etc,etc

Maybe you need to put the key in the ignition and turn it sidewaysOr fill the car with gas. Thats how cars work

when u say wont start i assume it is turning over. is that correct? u need to narrow it down to a spark or fuel issue. how is your dist. cap and rotor? how old are spark plugs? ahve u pulled plugs to see what color they are. do they have any deposits. have u tested your sp wires? did u pull a spark plug and reattach it to sp wire. try to start car and observe if u are getting spark. if u can eliminate the plugs/electrical then go to fuel side. if pump working? is fuel filter good? if u get thru all this and still dont solve it, spend the 85 bucks and have it diagnosed. it sounds like u know which end of a wrench to use hence given the diagnosis, u can probably fix it your self. good luck. let us know what happens.
