h22? isn't that mainly for accords? why not b16? seems to be popular with civc owners. anyway that still doesn't sound so good. I mean I've heard of h22's being turbod and holding up. but I really don't think a h22 can take that much abuse turbod in the long run. if you have another reliable car do what you want. if you don't you're better off choosing one or the other if you want it a little more reliable h22 or turbo. also I've heard of a guy to get the h22 swap and turbo and only to push 182 horses with i/h/e on his accord. Doesn't sound to good at all. 3,000+ dollars just to get 50 more horses! so they took the h22 out and put the f22 back and turbo'd it and it put out somewhere little over 200 horses. so they would have saved money if they would have just got the turbo first. but that was a accord.

simple because turbos are made for low compression cars you need to lower the compression of the engine. If not the engine will blow no matter what. here are some things to cosider before doing the swap, change the pistons and rods, port and polish the head, also use only full synthetic oil only. Get anything that can cool your car down fast like an oil cooler and ect. buy a turbo timer and if not always warm before driving and turning off. Also always check the oil and water level.

you can chip the ecu and or use hondata to program and remap fuel output/ rpmgo with a smaller turbochange the push rods, lifters springs and low compression pistons (a must expecally for high boost).h22 is a high compression motor so i'll start with the pistons first.. then the internals
