on old ones u gotta stick the key in the hole between the rear speakers to unlock em. a little later the release is in the trunk.

well what year is the car and like is said they got a keyhole between the speakers but the pull cord in the trunk i don't know about that 1 i have a 1987 accord i just got the keyhole in between my speakers then pull them down hope this helps
