if it rained could be moisture in cap could be you just need tuneup new cap and all check your spark plug wires at night look under hood at the wires in dark see if they are putting out sparks to motor or anything else maybe wore out plug wires they dont last forever especially in the summer

pull off the second spark plug boot from the belt side of the engine, i am willing to venture a guess that it is oil soaked, and this is causing your missfire, i would recomend replacing the valve cover gasket, valve cover o rings, spark plugs, and wires that should take care of your problem
