Unfortunately yes.I had the misfortune of this experience just a week ago. It was pouring though. If it's just a lite rain, then you might not notice anything, but if it's pouring then yeah. Also, I have one of those material slider things, and that held all of the water.

I've done that on my 2001 coupe without getting soaked, but it was only in a light rain. I expect that if it is left open like that in a hard rainstorm, that you could get quite a bit of wetness inside, especially if it's windy and coming down at an acute angle.
