you could use a the set up from an s2000 the rear end and every thing else should fit with some mods but it will cost a lot of money

From time to time people ask this question (or something like it). The basic consensus is thata) yes it is possible because anything is possible.(b) it is much cheaper to just sell your car then buy another with a RWD(c) when it actually converted, the quality of your car will be largely dependent on the aptitude of the mechanic.(d) you will have more trouble related to the conversion that's going to cost you $$$.(e) Civic was not designed with RWD so there very little room for RWD parts - which means major body surgery = $$$In reality, many of the conversion that are remotely possible are cars were offered as factory option (ex: 4 cyl vs 6 cyl, FWD vs AWD as long as they were factory options to begin with). Again, even if did find a mechanic, he would be experimenting with your car. Most of the time these conversions are done for show cars that recoup (or plan to recoup) the cost by winning prizes (not really to be used as everyday commuter car).Good Luck===Don't forget to vote for the BEST ANSWER -please - whoever it may be. :-)FACT: you get +3 points when you vote for BEST ANSWER.

If you have an extra $10,000.00 then you could have it done. First you would need to have a new frame built for the existing body. The time and cost of machining out new parts are not worth it. Buy an old Mazda RX7 and have some fun with it
