many successful drag racers use automatics..your problem is you have a Honda...nothing short of a ford or Chevy towing it will ever make it fastchevys use both powerglides and Th400...most fords use a c6

Most of those mods in a Honda engine work at high RPMS like 6000 and above. You wont reach those engine speeds with an automatic unless you floor the gas. So if that's how you drive then it is worth. I have a cold air intake on my civic Auto. But it doesn't really make a difference between my stock unless i go up to 5500RPMS. So is up to you.

These things will probably make the car quicker - but if you were interested in performance why did you by an automatic to start with? Personally, I don't think it would be worth it, it lowers the value of the car if you want to sell it in a couple of years since the average buyer doesn't want that stuff. Better to get a nice set of custom wheels to give it a sportier look and leave it at that. Whatever you do, your car is still under warranty, make sure you don't do anything that voids it.

Well I have to say it would be kind of a waste putting all that money into an automatic. But the good thing is that modifying a car is limited only by 2 things. Your immagination and your wallet. So if one day you decide you want to put a standard in there guess what, you can! So I'd have to say it really depends on what you ultimatly want to do with the car. Get on cardomain.com (if you haven't already) there are alot of great ideas there. Hope this helps.

if it's worth it is completely up to you... most people don't seem to think so... i was in the same boat with my last civic... if you're just looking to pick up a few ft/lbs and a few horses... do it.. but don't expect to be speed racer when you add them, cuz you'll still be slow... just save your pennies and buy a project car...

Even though you chosed a good model EX 2nd most powerful engine compare to the SI in the Civic line up. Sadly you chose an automatic which isnt good for performance in any Honda. You might want to sell it and get a manual EX or convert from auto to manual
