Default VTEC timing activation HONDA CIVIC Si?

What timing is the best for VTEC to activate?Low Cam - High Cam?2000 rpm - 8000 rpm?What rpm level is BEST for going from 0-60mph the Fastest?B16Z6 SOHC

you want the vtech to activate about 3k below red-line. it worked for me it should work for you

With my 07 si...my vtec opens at 6000rpm..I wish I can change it cos it's a little high...but I do love my vtec... =) So thats ok..But 4500rpm would be perfect in my opinion...

its at 5,400 for a reason but if u wanna go 0-60 go for about 4,500and im geusing you have the b16 motor?

best bet would to buy a vtec timer. they are relativly cheap. if you have a b16a 4,500rpm is the best you will get.. just have your rev limiter removed.. it will help out a WHOLE LOT
