The dealer offers the kit to do it. If you are not interested in a security system this is the best way to do it, as it will be a "stock" system. It is very easy to install if you ask them for the directions when you buy the kit. Best thing to do would be to just give the dealer the money and let them do it, it should not be very expensive even with paying for the labor to install it. A total around $200 sounds correct.
