Is the car a 3 door or 5 door? The 3 dr VTI s is a 1.6 VTEC with the BA16 engine fitted. Its pushing out in and around 160 BHP standard. This model is available only in Diamond Black and was a UK dealer special. The 5 dr is a 1.8 VTEC, its not the same engine as an Integra and puts out approx 160 BHP as well although feels no where near as rapid as the BA16 engined car. An Integra Type R is fitted with Hondas BA18 engine and a LSD as standard.

what country are you from? badges and model types vary from country to country. in the USA, the only civic that has the same engine as the integra type R are the Civic Si and Civic Type R. Both 2001 models and up. 2.0 liter K20 engines. still not exactly the same though, as each has different power output.models before that, civics only had 1.6 engines and integras had 1.8 engines.
