Default How much would you pay for a 91 Honda Prelude Si in good condition?

With a 4 cyl B20A5 (not original) engine, at. Its had over $1600 worth of major work done to it within the past 3 months including an engine block rebuild, replaced all belts and hoses, new water pump, radiator and brakes, soon to be new tires. The interior is pristine, and the exterior is still shiny(few small dings and fade spots on roof). Is $3500 too much to ask if I paid $2200 in Febuary (yes, this year) and put that much into it in as short a time?

If you put that much into it I would have kept it, $3500 isnt a bad price especially with that kind of work put into it, but you will more than likely be asked to lower it if anyone is interested, might only get $2,500 out of it with the way street buyers work.

if you want a truthful answer on it,no matter how much you put in to it,its only worth about 1500 tops, they year of it is what gets it,people want cars that will have some value to them, and that one is low,you basically have way to much money in the car,you might either have to keep it and drive it a while to get some of your money back out of it,or sell it and take a loss on it,that choice is yours,if your real lucky it might bring around 2k at the most, good luck with it.

I used to sell Honda for 2 years. The good thing about selling a used Honda's is that they are the #1 company in holding there value. If it has under 100,000 miles you can get more than that. If over 100k then i would say your $3,500 is a good offer. I would look on kelly's blue book website and summit your info. It will tell you what it should be worth.
