A good turbo kit for a 98 civic would run between any were from $2500 to $5000. You can see up to a 45% increase in horsepower. Try searching the web for some good kits. Also try the link below it is a good site with some good deals on some turbos.

Cost depends if you piece it together yourself anywhere from $1500-3500. HP 8psi 60-100whp making you car to 160-200whp. All depends on tuning. Hondata.com will offer you fuel management control. But first you need to convert your car to OBD-1 with a jumper harness which could be found at rywire.com. Turbo kits:cheapturbo.stores.yahoo.netpasswordjdm.comeba y turbo kits suck!!! You could get an engine swap for $3500 a nice GSR motor and GSR motor turbo would be alot faster

There are many places to look for turbo kits my recommendation is Noah Automotive Specialties. They carry bolt on turbo kits by Greddy and MimoUSA. For a GReddy bolt on for a 96-00 civic ex you can expect to pay around $2,200.00. For the MimoUSA kit, which is available in cast or stainless, you would pay about $1,570.00. I just checked the site and they are listed. This company carries a lot of accessories for Honda's and other brands.http://www.noahautomotivespecialties.com As for HP increase it will really depend on the tune, but it not unrealistic to see about 50whp/45tq, but does depend on the tuning.

Appx. $3400.00 -- you would be money ahead to just sell your car and buy a Mustang GT that has three times the HP of your Honda in stock form. While installing a turbo is good for about 40 HP the stress it puts on a stock engine can be lethal to the internals. Not to mention the trouble tuning an aftermarket system.Bad plan, dude....

here is a site for u to look at for which type of turbo kit u want.... this site has several types for u to choose from....but u do not want to boast it to much unless u rebuild the engine and put all new lifters and cams and everything else to handle the turbo or u will blow the engine if u aren't careful .....if u want a turbo u might as well get a DOHC engine and rebuild it if u want to spend $ for a turbo so u can ge the best out of the turbo
