what does the SI on the Honda stand for, and what is v-tec?
I have 2 boys that are always talking about cars, but I have no idea what these things are, ( I dont think they do either).I have a 99 Honda crv,...can a car have a v-tec without saying it.Be gentle people, I cant pretend I am smarter than the boys if I dont understand the answers, but good answers so far.

i dont know much about cars either, but im into it. The civic SI is another civic that has conversions put into it, like the v-tec engine. the SI is faster and has more upgrades than regular civics that dont have SI.
