...stuck open? I have a 2003 Honda accord coupe, 4 cyl.

Not if it reaches the right temp and does not heat up further.3-4 minutes is a very acceptable figure.

sounds to be about average. Operating temp is very high. fans don't operate till over 200 F. If your temp fluctuates at all,or it doesn't orver heat its probably working.Its an easy test to find out but it depends on you mechanical skills.Buy a service manual and start reading

Most thermostats are opened at around 160 degrees, so if your going much higher than that I would say stuck shut. 3-4 minutes to op temp is fine, and regular.If it stays hot then you have a problem.

well take the thermodtat out and put some hot water on a pan and put it on the oven whatch it work and than put it in cold water and see if it opend up if it closes and opends its good but if it does not buy one there fairly cheap
