Default B18c, will it fit 89 4WS Prelude.?

yes i have an 89 prelude, i know for fact that H22 can be done in to aprelude 200hp.. to much.. and too much custom mount too.. very pricey.. you see, i need an engine with more horse and relaible, to not have to change so much stuff... more power is super good, not worth the headeck of changing so much!. does any more know the spec. for the b18c. ( like horse and stuff.) please tell me more.......

Why not get an H22? A full H22 swap is still cheaper than a full GSR swap. More low end torque for a heavy car is a plus. Remember torque is what moves the vehicle and transmission gearing is what accelerates the vehicle.Any ways there are a few flavors of the B18C, 170hp (a.k.a B18C1), 180hp (a.k.a B18C Japanese) and the Type R B18C5 195hp, 200hp Japanese Type R. All the torque ratings falls around 128ft lbs - 134ft lbs at 6200rpm. Or you can look at this link here, it's very useful http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_B_engine.

you can do a direct engine swap with a b20b straight from japan and will fit right in. more power and plus more upgrades with less of a head ache. go on www.preludepower.com make a profile and talk to more people that know about preludes.
