Let me put it into perspective. The others are pretty close. between $6,000-$9,000 counting parts and labor. Now if you want something FASTER and more cost effecient hear me out. Buy a GSR B18C1 around $1,700 replace all the major points, pistons, rods, cams, valve springs, valves, retainers, intake, throttle body. around $3,000. Buy a good turbo kit, Greddy or Turbonetics $3,000 now you are at $7,700. Not only will you be in the 350 HP range, but you have spent less money and have nearly double the HP than the K20. I have a 99 civic EX that I swapped a B16 in and fully built it with sleeves from the crank up and now put down 497 HP to the wheels on 35 lbs of boost and 110 octane fuel for the track, and 337 HP on 13 lbs of boost for everyday driving. I only spent $8,000 on the motor and complete build so basically I bought the car for $4,000 and for $12,000 I have a 500 HP street car. Corvette Z06 500 hp = $70,000.

All I have to say is back in 2002-2003 you can find plenty of k20's for 2k, now you can't because of the marketing. Anywho, if you are willing to fork up 6-7k then you can do the swap. If not, just get a H22 and get the H2B kit and run a B16 transmission.

it would only cost about 4-6K if you do it by yourself...pluse you'll be running like 13's allready...then turbo it'll be able to beat the Ferrari F430 and the Ferrari 360...good luck
