What is the best change oil schedule for a 2001 honda civic sedan?

It really has to do with the driving conditions, where you drive, and how you drive...If you don't have your owners manual I would go down to autozone and have them print out your maintenance schedule and the different definitions for the severe and normal conditions. You could also get this at most auto repair shops, or the dealer of course. You really should get an owners manual though for future reference.Otherwise it would be best to follow the 3,000 mile rule, without knowing anything about the driving conditions.

Probably every 3000 miles just like every other car out there.

Every 3-4,000 miles. This way your engine stays clean and will last a long time.

Depends on the conditions.I have a 2001 Accord and my book actually says 5000 miles - I go between 3 & 5000.
