Exhaust tips? What should i get? But i still want it cheap but to sound great.

go to mineke and asked them to install some guns on your car and not dual exhaust about 375 to 475 $

Go get the biggest fart can for your civic the one that you could fit a large grapefruit in and remove the baffle and it will be stupid loud.Plus you might pick up 1/25th of a horsepower.

the tip does nothing but look good. if you want loud for loud sake, just run straight pipe...no muffler at all. you will lose all of your back pressure and most of your bottom end torque, making it a total dog out of the hole,but hey, it'll be loud.

It's a Civic, not a hot rod. Idealy the exhaust system is supposed to compliment the engine sound. With a cmall Civic motor, all you are going to hear is a whiney fart. Do yourself a favor and don't be that guy. Everyone knows Civics are slow. With an exhaust system you will look like just another disillusioned ricer.

If you want a great sounding exhaust i would get a full bolt catback system. It will give you a good sound and good performance. Focus, Apexi, DC sports are some good names but might cost from 200-500 for the systems.If you want a cheap exhaust a universal tip is cheap but might not give you the sound you want.

If you put a large muffler and piping on your civic you will open up the engine too much and and lose hp and torque since its a high compression engine... stop worrying about sound and look at performance YOU SILLY RICER!!!!

I have a 2000 Civic EX. I put a full Borla exhaust on and it sounds great not too loud but u can tell its not stock.
