I would choose none of them, because I don't believe Hondas/Acuras have a strong enough motor, in terms of their competition. They are lacking in many areas, although MANY people will dissagree. People have strong opinions about the cars they drive. My dad is a mechanic, and it just seems that Honda is triling behind in terms of the functioning preformance of their cars. BUT, I have been in many civics, and my friend owns a very nice 2001 civic, with nice features and decent looks. So that would be my pick.

Don't listen to the fool above. Hondas are not only probably the cheapest and easiest to tune (since they are so popular it isn't as hard to find parts) Honda/Acura are reliable annd economical. I've been driving Honda my whole life(93integra GSR, 00 Integra GSR, now I have a brandy spankin new 07 Civic Si) and I'll never switch. I have friends with BMW's, VW/Audi, Mercedes and they are always having maintenence done. I just change my oil.Of the choices you have listed I would pick the Si. There are plenty of Preludes and GSRs around, the 00 Si is a rare and hard to find Honda. That car is and will be a tuner classic. It's not the fastest of the three but it is the most unique.Good Luck.

The first guy is an idiot! how many motors do you know that have 100 horsepower per liter? a B16, 1.6 liter makes 160 HP, if an american v8 did that the 5.7 liter motor would make 570 horsepower. If you are looking for performance and ease of upgrading, then the GSR or SI are ideal. I would skip on the prelude. The other two I would test drive and see which one "fit" you better.

I'm guesing you want a somewhat quick car by the choices you've opted for. it really depends on what your budget is, and what you plan on doing to it. Overall your best bet would be the GSR. The prelude is a nice car, but compared to the other cars you've chosen it dosen't have as much aftermarket support. also it's pretty heavy. I'd pass on the Si because it's not as fast as people make it out to be only like 150 hp and 125tq...if that, and for those numbers you could just get a gs integra. At the end of the day I suggest the Gsr as long as its the coupe
