I'm considering purchasing this car, with a manual transmission. Overall, it's rated highly by many different sources, but I'm looking to get some individual feedback here. I'm not going to race/modify it. I'm thinking of buying it because of it's reliability, resale value and fuel economy.

you can get about what you are looking for, but better, with a new Camry. I looked at the civic. It was hard to justify the price when compared to the camrys. the new civic looks cool, but I'm getting more car, nicer looking (new body style) and 32 mpg hway. camry is the number one seller for 7 of the past 8 years in the U.S. resale.. not a problem.

i have 90 days and 6000 miles on my 07ex. mine has the manual and no nav. it is a very good car. not much back seat, though...(don't carry passengers that can complain). i've been getting around 37mpg, but it should get better with more break in miles.a camry is a lot bigger car, and it is a TOYota! the ex coupe gets a nice sound system-you can even program it to welcome you by your name!in my opinion you won't go wrong with a civic ex coupe; style, performance, economy and very good resale value.generally the worst part of owning a honda is the dealers.go to 8thcivic.com to find out what others have to say.happy motoring
