The only other REAL alternative is turbo or engine swap. the pros and cons of both: turbo easy HP increase on the stock motor, but performance will be maxed out on that motor as the DX is the weakest of the family, but you can keep your factory motor. Engine swap, same HP as the turbo and costs about the same plus you will have a better starting platform if you do decide to upgrade in the future. As for the mods you already have done, I wouldn't waste any more money on that engine. They are pretty much worthless as far as performance goes, they put down about 97 HP at the wheels from the factory. A GOOD turbo kit, Greddy, Turbonetics will only get you about 150 HP at the wheels. If you swap in a B16a you will get the 145 HP at the wheels in stock form and if you add a Greddy exhaust, AEM intake, and DC headers put down close to 160 HP at the wheels. And if upgrade later on with the aformentioned turbo kit get 250 HP at the wheels.

Turbo or a swap DX are weak...go for a LS or a GSR swap you be able to beat a few cars out there...but i would rather get a 93 or a 99 civicHB...good luck tho
