...would be great! I see the O2 sensor up front by the radiator, actually there looks like 2 of them. I initially thought the on up front, at the bottom, was the one to replace. But was told that it is located in the middle of the exhaust pipe by the catalytic converter. I looke underneath along the pipe but did not see anything that looked like the o2 sensor part. A picture wou;ld be great. My emisions test is failing and this seems a pretty easy part to replace, if I can find the darn thing! Thanks Dennis

You kinda answered your own question. Locate the cat convertor, the big thing about the middle of your exhaust. Look directly after that (going front to back) and it will be right there in the upper portion of the pipe. Look for something with wires coming out of it.

I have the same engine as yours, D16Y7, unless you have a different engine. The Catalytic Converter/Exhaust Manifold are one. There should be a cover (heat shield?) at the top of the Catalytic Converter. There are two Oxygen Sensors. Each Oxygen Sensors have four wires connected to it. The first one is located before the Catalytic Converter (integrated into the Exhaust Manifold). The only way to remove that is to remove the "top cover" first. The second one is located after the Catalytic Converter. The landmark will be the opposite of the radiator (air conditioning condenser), underneath the Catalytic Converter, before the small pipe. You need the ramp, or jack the car up, in order to see it. You need to remove the engine splash shield (the black thing underneath), in order to have room for removal.Heated Oxygen Sensor (USA) = Lambda Sensor (UK)
