Ok I don't think the Rebel Honda is for me. Maybe the Shadow. What mpg does it get?

Almost any motorcycle will get at least 40MPG.Depending on the carb setup (s)

If your looking for 2 wheel transportation strictly for mpg, get a scooter. If you have never ridden before, the shadow may be more than you can handle for a first bike. The rebel is OK to start with, but under powered.
