Default What kind of engine swap can I do?

I have a 2003 honda civic (automatic) and I want more horsepower by getting a engine swap. I had a bmw 1992 (5 speed) so I really didn't care that my civic was a automatic but now I want more power and Its hard finding good engines for it. So what can I do with it?

There is nothing like a good old American V8 walk away from the rice burner.

Well if you want more horsepower, the best choices are getting another motor manufactured by Honda. Maybe a B18, motor from an Acura Integra. The LS has no VTEC, so that means you wont hear that nice sound around 5000, rated at 140 hp. GS has VTEC, and i believe it's 140 also.GS-R is a manual only, and has 170 hp, with vtec. Type-R is rare, only in manual but has 195 hp.Or maybe a K20 from the Acura RSX-S.The base model has an option of auto or manual, and is 160 horsepower. Has i-VTECBut if you use the type S version, it has 200 horsepower, only in manual and also had i-VTECI hope this helps.
