Hi I was wondering if there is a difference between the 205/45/17 tires going to the 205/40/17 tires I have a 95 honda accord and I see on ebay they have the 205/40/17 for auction however the 95 honda accord usually take 205/45/17 I was wondering if there would be a problem such as rubbing or rolling

Although the 205/40R17's will fit and many people do use them, they technically don't support the weight of the Accord. This could be a problem if the tires were low on air and you had the car fully loaded with people or stuff in the trunk--it might overload the tires and cause them to overheat and come apart.Using a 215/40R17 is a better idea.
