take it to the dealer theyll give you the code for free. it could be one of 20 different codes for your model car and you only get 10 chanches to put the code in right before you have to diconnect the battery in order to try again

Run a Carfax to see where the car was originally sold.Honda has a pre-delivery checklist that all cars have to go through.Contact the dealership.Ask for the service department.Tell them you purchased a car that was originally from their dealership. They will ask for the V.I.N. Give it to them. They should tell you the 5 digit code.Write it down, so you don't forget.Enter the code on your radio presets. If done correctly, radio should pop on.2nd scenario:The radio code was never entered into the system.Do not worry. There is a serial # on the radio itself. (Not easy to get to, you have to pull the radio)Give the serial # to the service person. He can obtain the code that way.The only way to get this code is through the original dealer.

call a Honda dealer parts department and tell them you are mike calling from bobs auto and you need the code to reset the customers radio. they will ask for the Vin number of the car and give you the code. call between 9 and 4, they may want to call you back with the code. make sure you answer the phone bobs auto or whatever you want to call your imaginary business

I had the same problem. wiht the same car. Just ask the dealer or look in your golve box. Sometimes there is a sticker with the code. If not just ask the dealer. Dont let them try and trick you though and pretend they dont have it. They might try to say we dont have it so bring it down so we can remove your radio and look at the code. They'll charge you like 80 bucks for that when all they gotta do is type up your vin. When you get the code just MAKE SURE YOU WRITE IT DOWN!!!
