if i bought some set of strut bars online for a 1996 honda civic EX.....would i have to replace anything? is it easy to do? can i do it myself with standard tools?i know at least the part where i just take the nuts off and put on the stru bars nut there are 4 different "bars" in it kit.

bro this is one of the easiest things to do in the world. Just make sure you don't get an eBay special. You want to get one that you can tighten up the chassis with. the ones that you just bolt up are o.k. but for a little bit more money you and really tighten up the frame and handle a little bit better around those back roads.

you might need a jack for the installI got a neuspeed bar and the holes (youll see) were way off so I needed to jack it off to relieve the suspension and get the holes lined up. When I dropped it back down, it was much stiffer. Like somebody else said, dont get an ebay. Go with a name brand.
