it really depends on the prevailing road conditions. if you're a city driver and the roads are smooth and well-paved, then by all means, put on the 18" (why not go 19"?) rims dude! but if your lifestyle stakes you off-road once in a while, you'll just crack the rims.

you dont need them you want them and you can put them on go to your local tire shop and they can tell you the correct sizes to fit and the right offset

is really depend on what you can go with your wallet. and what your car want..for example...if you have money to waste then you can buy what ever rim is there for your car...but if you just need to bigger wheel then in my opinion..ill suggest you go with 17x7.5 because 17x7.5 dont rub....because is have really high offset...( the higher the offset level the better you dont rub againt your fender )...and 17x.75 is a good better look for your car...EX: 17 look good on civic...17 look small on accord...18 look big on civic but 18 look good for accord...and 18..ill guarantee you.that you will rub badlty on civic !! careful what you spending on.before you crying

On a 2006 you can go up toa 20" rim and tire with no rubbing as long as you don't lower the car. a good safe way to go is 18" this will allow a larger tire and give you close to the same ride as stock.
