83' 4dr Honda Accord Power Steering Rack
It's leaking fluid out the air transfer hose, so I was told that the rack is going bad. I replaced the hose, but it just popped off the other end and still leaking.
I was quoted around $650 for parts and labor..wow!  Is a Power Steering Rack something that can be bought and replaced by a layman? It seems that it should just unbolt and a new one can be bolted back in Is there any site that gives any type of directions? What the better reconditioned brand to buy between A1Cardone, Maval, or CVU? Thanks in advance for any advice you could offer~Dan  .
