It's an economy car. You cant get much out of a 1.3 liter engine not matter what you do to it.

oh put a turbo on it or a b16es or maybe a cold air intake.JUST PAY YOUR CAR OFF BEFORE YOU SCREW IT UP WITH JUNK

Depends on how much power yopu want some basics would be an intake, exhaust system, headers, and an under pulley kit.

To get true performance, swap the engine with a K20, other than that only look for 20-30 HP increase with parts that will cost just as much as the swap would have. And to the first post, the new RX-8 is a 1.3 liter naturally aspirated engine that puts out 250 HP.
