...look blue? I bought the light bulbs that look blue at the autoparts but when the signal is on it is white instead of blue?

Probably the package said, "cool blue" or "Hyper white" or somthing and you figured if would be blue. I did that with my headlights and there was no change in color at all. Basically if the bulb doesn't look blue then it isn't blue! Don't let fancy packaging fool you. Ebay is an excellent source for bulbs. I would recommend "Euro Dezigns" becuase they will be consistant with the standard wattage (on ebay). They have all the sizes. They also have purple, yellow and red bulbs. Right now I have eurodezign purple H4 headlight bulbs in my focus and they look awesome. signal bulbs will be cheaper. As far as colored bulbs they will never help you see better (unless maybe they are higher wattage (dont do)) they look cool but are usually a little darker. Its is still a halogen bulb but with colored glass. A real xeon bulb is long a skinny and must have a ballast. At least $200 for conversion.
