Default Honda Accord problem?

My daughter has a 1991 Honda Accord LX, recently she noticed a light on her dash with an S stays on. When she accelerates and the speedometer moves the light goes out for a while but then comes back on. Can this be an O2 sensor problem? If not what can it be?

S is the position that her transmission selector is set at which stands for "sport" If it goes out, then there is a short. On the shifter, there is a button that can be pressed in and out. This should take the transmission from "sport" to "normal" and the light will go out. It has NOTHING to do with O2.

I don't know what the S light is, but I think you have been sold too many O2 sensors! I have never seen, or heard of, and O2 sensor causing this kind of problem.Do you have the owners manual to know what the S is? **Oh, nevermind I see what it is now from the above answer**

Eugene D is right. There is a button on the left side of the shifter that toggles it on/off. All is does is change the shift points under normal acceleration to feel more like a sports type car. Changes the shift points to high rpms.
