Also how much would it be to just get the hood painted?

$2000-$3000 for a complete paint job, everything from inside, outside, engine compartment, trunk, and undersills. Just the hood, probably $500 or less than $1000.

At least $3000, probably much more for a quality paint job. You will find cheaper, but I wouldn't recommend it. You pay for what you get. Shop around and check out multiple shops. If they don't let you see the work area, avoid them, they're hiding something.I would also ask the dealership, particularly if they have a repair shop. If it is the dealership, they may charge more but are also held to the standards of the manufacturer.
