I drove both vehicles and liked them equally. I choose the 07 CR-V. You just have to spend some time in both vehicles to make that decision. The Toyota's 4x4 is a rougher ride than their 4x2. The Honda is an full time AWD and I find the ride smooth for that type of vehicle. Neither of them compare in ride to my Nissan Maxima, but then that is apples and oranges. Both Honda and Nissan have excellent resale value and reliability. Figure out what you want out of the vehicle and do a side by side comparison.

Rav 4's don't have much power.Honda's insurance is higher, but their resale value is better.

They are both great little SUV's, drive them and see which one you like best, either way you won't go wrong.
