Default 2007 Honda fit or 2006 Honda civic Hybrid?

Owww at this dealership that i found i could get a 06honda civic hybrid for the same price of a 2007 honda fit. Now I'm confused.. I had made my mind up into getting a fit. but now i don't know. Whats really bothering me is where do i get service for the hybrid... Which one? on by the way the 06 hybrid has 17,000 Miles.

A used hybrid has one major risk factor that you should think over very carefully. The replacement price for the battery pack for that car could be as high as $4000 or more depending on where you obtain it.If I were you, I would buy the Fit and spend a few dollars more for the new car experience. The mileage of a hybrid isn't that much better than the Fit, and you don't have the second hand costs related to a used car.

get the fit. the hybrid wont save you very much at all. and if you have a battery issue with the hybrid, it'll cost you atleast 5K. plus the fit has that new, cool, retro look.

Yes, I understand. Fits are really hard to get a hold of. We can't keep them in stock ourselves. While the fit is a nice car for the money, I think you are better off with the civic Hybrid or even a regular pre-owned civic for the price.Just keep in mind that the back seat on the hybrid does not fold down like the regular gas version. Fits get 31-38 mpgcivics get 30-40civic hybrids get 45-50 mpg.the battery and the electronics on the hybrid are covered for 8 years so no worries there. If it is certified you can upgrade the certification for 7 years or 100K mile coverage bumper to bumper. We charge 695 for the upgrade which is really cheap. The warranty is through Honda and not some mickey mouse aftermarket company. Be wary of those

If it were me, I would go for the Civic. I'm not too fond of the FIT...it's not as stylish and gorgeous as the Civic (looks like an Acura...the luxury line of Honda). The Civic gets excellent gas milage too. Whatever you decide you can't go wrong...it's a Honda after all... :-)

I think you should get the Fit. The Hybrid is used (it has 17,000 miles on it) and the Fit is new. Additionally, I have found the Fit to be a great car and very reasonably priced.

the hybrid has a better mpg and plus you can hop on the car pool lane anytime you want which is a plush and it has more room, i think the 06 hybrid looks better too... i mean the fit is not too bad but i would go with the hybrid
