Default My '92 Prelude shudders when I brake, anyone know why?

It hasn't been a problem yet, but it's definitely irritating.

Brake rotors can warp two ways side to side and then excessive thickness variations. Because of your cars age I would take it to a professional who knows Honda and have any loose parts in the front suspension replaced too. Using a on car brake lathe is a good way to true the brake rotors if there is enough thickness to remachine brake pad surfaces.

It could be your ABS system - depends on what conditions are when you're breaking. You need to take the vehicle to a mechanic - you probably need a brake job. This is unsafe as it can cause you to lose control of the vehicle when stopping, a time when you need control the most.

More than likely your front brake rotors are warped. I would take your car to a local mechanic and have them checked.

Warped rotors, loose/worn suspension parts, out of balance wheels.

I do agree with John P. but do keep in mind that front suspension, "CV" joints and a busted belt in the tires also cause a "wobble" in the steering wheel when their forward momentum is effected.
