If your no mechanic you must find out if there is any freon in the system, if it operating in a vacuum you must do a leak detection on it, suck it into a vacuum again and add freon. If it has some freon in it you can just add more freon. If you add freon to a system in a vacuum it will cause ice to form inside the lines, and it will clog it up, it has to be a clean pure zero enviroment inside the lines.

If it's just blowing semi cold air, it probably just needs to be charged. I had the same problem and my fiancee, fixed it up for me, You might also want to check if there is a leak, and I believe there is something you can buy yourself that you put in it that stops leaks, at least for awhile and if they aren't major, when he checked mine for leaks he did it at night, put the stuff in it, and used a special light, it makes it show where there are any leaks, it kind of glows a little if that makes sense.

You may want to have it checked to see if there are any leaks in the hoses as well. My 95 accord I had refilled with freon and it still only cooled to 40 degrees or so they said and they told me I had a 2 small leaks that caused it to not cool properly.
