Default Can I put a "bolt on" disk brake system in the rear of my Civic?

I have a 2001 Honda Civic LX sedan. It originally comes with rear drum brakes. I want to swith it to disc brakes. Is it possible to do this with out any major modifications to my car? Thanks everyone.I got an engine sitting in the garage that my friend blew. It came out of an 02 RSX. Im rebuilding it and planning to swap it on my car. I got money saved for some performance parts (turbo kit, exhaust, fuel injectors etc..) So the car will be quick but not to stop. plus the si is some trash.

Yes, its not that hard as long as you can find a kit. If you are decent with tools, you can get it done in a day or less. Why are you doing this btw? that civic wont be going very fast anyways, and it is a light, small car. and some brembo look alikes dont look good on a civic lx. i'd say save your money.

Yes it is possible. The cheapest and easiest would be a integra rear disk brake conversion.

yes it possible.. i swapped my rea drum to disc of my accord, the best it to go a junkyard and grab the entire rear back system. here is alist of cars that have swapable parts:Honda / Acura vehicles with "swappable" parts:2001 - 2005 Acura EL (canadian)2001 - 2005 Civic Si2001 - 2005 Civic Type-R2001 - 2005 RSX2001 - 2005 RSX Type-R2001 - 2005 TSX (mainly engine components, with Hasport mounts) while you rat it you should replace the rotors, pads ans get stainless steel brake lines that will give you a solid braking system. the whole swap cost me $500. check out honda-tech.com on how to swap it yourself and good deal on parts
