A friend is planning a long move to another state and would like to maximize his vehicle capacity so as to move as much as he can himself. How do you remove the second row seat in order to do that?

Maddening, isn't it? First, you have to release the rear latches of the seat that secure it to the floor. In order to do that you have to activate the latch release lever. You will find this small lever on the front of the seat base (door side). It is black with white icon (kind of hidden). Once the lever is pulled the rear latches will release and the back of the seat can be lifted up. Then move the whole seat back until the front latches slide out from under their anchors. The seat should now be free of the vehicle.
