Have you looked at the Ford Focus. It's a really good car, and it's good on gas. I don't like foreign brands, but the Honda Civic is a good car too. Don't go with a Chevy. They are unreliable. I wouldn't recomend a Hybrid just because they cost so much, so you really aren't saving a whole lot.

Any type of Hybrid.Toyota makes a great one called the Hybrid Prius.Sleek,stylish and environmentally better! Not to mention easier on your wallet at the gas pumps!

Hybrid vehicles. The Toyota Prius is by far the most fuel efficient car available on the market.

The Tesla Roadster is electric so i guess it gets infinity miles to the gallon. it does 60 in 4 seconds and costs 50k.

Small compact cars. Hybrids. Usually Honda or Toyota have better gas efficiency. Also, that smart car is incredible.But the Prius is very compact, and silly looking at best.Smart Car gets better fuel mileage.

The Smart fortwo, or a VW..Anything diesel (not a truck!) will get you the most mileage for your money.
