check out http://www.tigerjapanese.com . also, if your gonna be tacking 9000, on a stock motor, its not gonna last. start with a good base line. go get yourself a good b16a1, thats a good level to start. its a dohc vtec. if your looking to really go overboard, look for a b18c1, gsr motor, both of these motors have about the same potential, but the b18c1 costs a bit more. for either one of these swaps, expect around 1500-3000, for a complete swap.

Its not the motor that revs to 9500, its the ECU. Your ECU tells you engine how far it can rev. If you plan on reving it that high you had better have some serious internal upgrades, crank, rods, pistons, cams, valves, valve springs, retainers, cam gears. basically a completeley built motor. My suggestion is to get a H22a, have it built and turbo it. You are looking at close to $10,000 but it will last as long as you want it to.

Buy a H22A Engine this is a JDM Prelude Engine and comes stock 220HP, 20HP more then the American Version. Plus get your ECU chip, "Chipped" so you can redline at a high RPM. I chipped my ECU for my civic and I can redline at 9,000 RPM. Try it out

I have a prelude si as well and i have this guy tom who can get anything and everything for honda so if you want i can talk to him and let you know...It's not the motor that revs to 9500 it is the ECU so your going to have to get an ECU chip but if you plan on reving that high you may need other upgrades like umm cams, pistons, valves, crank, rods, fuel injectors ect ectI would suggest getting an H22A and turbo it..Also if you get an s2000 motor and have it chipped your looking at reving around 9500...Email me and i will find you some more honda performance motors, depending on where you live i could also get it for you and have it shipped so just let me know
