Default 96 accord ex coupe gauge faces?

ive done taken the gauges out of the cluster out of the car and i cant figure out how to take the needle out so i can slip on the new gauge faces, my question is how do i take off the the needle that points the speed, rpm, ect. off so i can slip the new gauge face on?

You dont you just slide it over the needle. I have a 99 civic ex and have done this project 4 times.

I put some new gauges in last summer and had the same question. You had actually have to slip them through you needles.

If you take the needles out, it is almost impossible to put everything back together the way it was before. You have to slip the gauges over the needles, DO NOT take the needles out and save yourself ALOT of trouble and headache. The hole in the center of the gauge faces that you have has to slip over the needles.
